Ukraine and is adjacent on the north and east to the Russian
Federation regions of Bryansk,
Kursk and Belgorod.

with the population of 285 thousand people and 145 sq. km. land area. Sumy is a city of students. More then 20 thousand students are studying in our universities: Ukrainian Academy of Banking, Sumy State University, Sumy National Agrarian University, Sumy State Pedagogical University.
